‘Wishes’ and ‘Change’

Lion came across a pig and said ‘ I roar and the jungle fears’.
Pig replies ‘Nowadays i sneeze and the world fears!
How things change with time !!

‘Change’ being the only permanent thing, may not be positive and desirable many a times. Often, we are left wishing that the change be beneficial to us or it happens the way we want it to be. And unfortunately we are not in control of things. Some guy called god, who happens to be the sole reason for many festivals and holidays (not to mention demolitions and riots) is in charge . Atheists mostly, don’t care about change. That is because they are busy, countering the theist’s claim that god is in charge. If at all, they care about change,  it has to be their expectation of a change in all theists’ stand.

In totality Man proposes, god screws up. In Atheist’s parlance – Man proposes, the man who doesn’t exist, screws up.
Oh !! wait a minute. I am not a chauvinist. So in Diplomatic parlance – Man proposes, the woman/man who doesn’t exist, screws up.

The man/ Woman in question can only screw up, but can he/she stop us from wishing. Its a definite No in my case. So here goes my wishlist.
It would be nice :

1. If i own a genie like Aladdin’s. A Genie which can remove the sugar crystals from Panner Butter Masala, served in Hot Chips.
2. If my shirt doesn’t bear half a bucket of sand, at the end of a two-wheeler ride.
3. If Karan Johar doesn’t make any more films like KANK.
4. If i possess a self-filling wallet.
5. If this distracting Seductress be my neighbour, far from the clutches of ~uh~.
6. If somebody pays me for tweeting and blogging whole life.
7. If Michael Jackson be brought alive and Michael Schumacher really makes a comeback.
8. If WordPress stops sending me notifications for exceeding bandwidth limitations, caused by the spurge in visitors, whenever i post.
9. If Lays Lalit keeps a check on his innovations.
10. If there’d be a camera, which would take pictures of those, wasting time inside the washroom for more than 3 minutes. ( to be fitted only in office )
11. If the Udit Narayans and Sadhana Sargams learn atleast the spelling of Tamil, before crooning for Tamil songs.
12. If Himesh Reshammiyya uses his nose just for breathing and smelling.
13. If I could adjust the brightness and contrast, in the sun’s rays.
14. If this damned lady stops lying that i’m busy, whenever i try to call myself.
15. If Hot water mixing in tea-shops be banned.
16. If Horlicks really accomplishes what it claims to do.
17. If i don’t grow a couple of  inches immediately after buying a pair of denims.
18. If All doctors have a sense of humour and some, a common sense.
19. If colleagues remember to brush their teeth.
20. If there are no deadlines.
21. If there is no cow dung on the roads i use daily. And finally,
22. If ‘Mango bite’ remains cheap as ever.

Many of the above wishes may not happen and in some cases like 3, god has already initiated the screwing up process ! Nevertheless, i will keep wishing. Without wishes, wasting time at work or anywhere for that case, is difficult.
