The art of Titling Scripts !!
Hi Guys, I know i had promised a sequel to my previous post, but the subject matter of this post was too tempting to postpone. I was scanning through Dhina Thanthi, a tamizh daily today and was as usual drawn towards the cinema page. It was only today that i became aware of crap titles like the ones listed below. Here are a few i jotted down from today’s and some prior editions. All the titles below are tamizh ones and i have translated each one of them for non-tamizh consumption as well.
I know that literal translation wouldn’t suffice for non-tamizh readers, hence i have added my inferences too ..
- Siva thambi Manasile – An Anatomy of Siva’s brother’s heart ( Medical thriller )
- Pachaiya Puram – The Green rear of a mansion ( Environmentally disturbing supernatural thriller )
- Thalai Ezhuthu – The mistakes your hair stylist makes while working on your hairdo ( Drama )
- Nai Kutti – The Puppy ( Wildlife documentary )
- Kathai – Story ( The story of a writer and how he is denied credit for his works )
- Kalacharam – Culture ( Must be the story of MNS !! Need i say more.)
- Nil Gavani Yennai Kathali – Stop, concentrate and love me ( The love story of a police constable, romantic drama )
- Penn Singam – The Lioness ( animation film )
- Kutti – Small ( The emotional outburst of a short man )
Thats not all. I missed out on many editions of the paper. These directors must have worked hard on the titling part. Hmm , anyway let me focus on the sequel.

Happy New YEar !!
Happy new year guys !!
I have not been writing as much as i should. Just keeping my blog alive with these bloopers i manage to find often. Lucky me !!
And i have been on a book reading marathon from new year. Its now or never, because my results will be out this month end and i will surely fail. That means mundane preparation post results which would keep me away from blogs and books. Well, i should stop rambling now. I guess this is the first time i am writing something personal and it feels strange. So, let me finally stop now and ‘happy new year’ again.
